AFSCME PEOPLE Council 5 Endorsement

AFSCME People  Council 5 is one of the largest unions in my district.  I was grateful to receive a letter of endorsement from Laura Askelin and several other members at my campaign office.   

I am proud to earn this endorsement. I know many of the hard working members who staff many state health, government, and correctional facilities across the state.  I look forward to working with them in St. Paul.

Anniversary of Wellstone’s Death

This a difficult day for many in Minnesota to remember but the memory of those we lost will be with us for some time. 

 

Minnesota DFL Chair Brian Melendez released the following statement:

 

“The legacy of Paul Wellstone has forever altered the landscape of Minnesota politics. The teacher from Northfield redefined what it means to live by the courage of your convictions. Paul was the one yelling truth from the rooftops and leading by example. He was an unrelenting voice for those who struggled to achieve the American dream and his passion inspired us all. His presence is missed every day but we are all better off having been touched by his life.”
