The City of Lonsdale is hosting its “Grande Day” Parade on Saturday, August 9, 2008. This will be the 22nd

Annual Celebration of the quaint Community of Lonsdale, MN. Come join me and members of my re-election committee as we march in the Lonsdale “Grande Day” Parade. 

The Parade is scheduled to start at 2:00 PM at the corner of Main Street and Delaware Street South. We are asking families and constituents who are interested in participating in this wonderful celebration of Lonsdale to arrive no later that 1:30 PM. If you are interested in marching with us, the parade staging area is off of Hwy 19 to the south. Entering Lonsdale from the east, turn left on Industrial Drive and follow it to our assigned line up number “41.” The number will be painted on the street. If you need help the Lonsdale Skywarn will be available for assistance. 

Located 10 miles west of Hwy 35 on Hwy 19, the city of 1,500 will be celebrating its heritage. Many events are planned so check out the City of Lonsdale website and start planning your weekend. We hope to see you there.
