The new funding has allowed us to move forward on much-needed bridge projects that would otherwise have been dangerously delayed. Hello. This is Rep. David Bly thanks to you we did restore funding to Head Start and early childhood programs (which many researchers call the most cost effective investments we can make). We fully funded Special Education for the first time in many years making it possible for districts to use more of their general operating budgets for what they were intended for. David Bly thanks to you we found money to give an increase in education funding and a cost of living increase for long-term care workers even though we also had to solve a $900 million deficit.
