Thursday Dec. 15th at 7pm Kip Sullivan of the Minnesota Universal Health Care Coalition
will discuss our current Health Insurance system and how a Single-Payer
Universal coverage system would not only save money but would improve
efficiency. They will also show you health insurance finder,
so you can find the right insurance for you.
The presentation will be held at Cannon Valley
Friends Meeting place, at 313 1/2 Division Street, above Jenkins
Jewelers and should be about 90 minutes. Kip Sullivan has written
extensively on the topic of universal single-payer health insurance. He
will present information from years of research he has done on our
health care system. Kip worked with Barry Casper
and Paul Wellstone on Wellstone’s U S Senate Bill for a Single payer
system. He will explain the failure of Managed Care and why high
deductible accounts are a bad idea. Sullivan believes we have waited
too long for a system that would bring universal coverage and our
politicians have the lacked the will to bring it forward. All those
interested in the ins and outs of the healthcare debate won’t want to
miss this presentation and discussion.
