Recount Info

Here’s what I know about the recount.  The process will occur simultaneously in Scott and Rice County at 9:00 AM on November 29.   The Scott County Recount Official is the Election Supervisor, Mary Kay Kes, and it will be carried out at the Government Center at 205 4th Avenue in Shakopee.  The Rice County Recount Official is Auditor-Treasurer Fran Windschitl and the location is 320 NW Third St. in Faribault.

    Dear David,
    I am a resident of Belle Plaine. I have been discussing the current issues with welfare abuses with a neighbor. My neighbor is a landlord and stated to me that there are people on welfare sitting around smoking pot. I am asking that you introduce a bill requiring random drug testing for residents receiving benefits.Please inform me if this option is feasible.
